The Taube Family Foundation, the Koret Foundation and the Warriors Community Foundation are partnering together to support underserved youth in the Bay Area through Hoops for Kids. Through this program, Warriors achievements on the court support the "Starting Five" - a squad of amazing organizations working to improve educational opportunities and life outcomes for kids. The "Starting Five" are the Boys & Girls Clubs of Oakland, BUILD, East Oakland Youth Development Center, Playworks, and the Reading Center. Each Warriors 3-point basket will generate $500 for these programs. Thus far this season, it has raised $213,500.00 from the team's 427 3-pointers. Go Warriors!
