Itzhak Perlman performed at SF Symphony in honor of POLIN Grand Opening

On January 18, 2015, Itzhak Perlman gave a riveting performance to a sold-out full house at Davies Symphony Hall. The recital, supported by Taube Philanthropies, was in celebration of the Grand Opening of the POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews in Warsaw, Poland (on October 28, 2014). The concert repertoire consisted of Beethoven, Grieg, and Ravel. Perlman delighted the audience with additional compositions that had not been announced in the program, including John William's Theme from Schindler's List. Guests of Taube Philanthropies had the honor of meeting Mr. Perlman at a private reception following the concert. These guests included: Michael and Chris Boskin, Jeffrey and Barbara Farber, Tina Frank, Anita Friedman and Igor Tartakovsky, Dick and Lorrie Greene, Shana Penn and Paul Milne, Irene Pletka, Larry and Patty Siskind, Tad and Dianne Taube, Sam and Tzipi Tramiel, and Stan and Esther Wojcicki.
