On July 4, as part of the Jewish Culture Festival and with support from the Taube Foundation for Jewish Life & Culture, the JCC Krakow organized the largest Shabbat dinner ever seen in Krakow since before World War II. The dinner was held at Stara Zajezdnia, a very large modern venue, which was once a train depot and is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Over 430 guests attended - including many JCC members from the Krakow community, and friends from around the world. The photo of the Shabbat dinner below has been seen by over 12,000 people on Facebook.

In addition to the Shabbat dinner, the Festival opened many new eyes to the exciting renewal of Jewish life in Krakow and especially at the JCC, where 100 Jewish Culture Festival events were held, and over 15,000 visitors came through the JCC's doors over the course of the Festival's 8 days.
