Mayor Gavin Newsom Hosts Reception for Sister Cities
On October 21, 2009, Mayor Gavin Newsom and Chief of Protocol Charlotte Mailliard Shultz hosted a reception in San Francisco City Hall honoring the new sister cities relationship between San Francisco and Krakow with Honorary Co-Consuls for the Republic of Poland Tad Taube and Christopher Kerosky and about 100 other notable San Francisco community leaders. The San Francisco-Krakow sister cities relationship is the first such Eastern European relationship for San Francisco.
