Hoover Institution at Stanford

The Taube Family Foundation is a major supporter of the Hoover Institution, a public policy research center devoted to advanced studies of history, politics, economics and international affairs. Their libraries contain among the most important and widely accessed collections and archives of the 19th and 20th centuries.

Tad Taube, a member of Hoover's Board of Overseers, sponsors individual scholars, including former Secretary of State George P. Shultz, and such programs as the Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty Archives, a critical resource for studying the Cold War.

Taube Visiting Fellows are world-renowned experts in scholarly research, publications and public forums at the leading edge of ideas defining a free world. They include policy analyst Peter Berkowitz, Judge Robert Bork, American historian David Dalin and former President of the Republic of Poland Aleksander Kwasniewski.
