This season Taube Philanthropies and the Koret Foundation partnered with the Sharks Foundation on the second season of the Goals for Kids Program. For each goal scored by the San Jose Sharks this year, a $1,000 donation was dedicated to the program which will be evenly distributed to the six beneficiaries at the end of the season. The program has raised $241,000 during the first 82 game of the 2015-16 season and will continue on into the Sharks playoff run. The 2015-16 beneficiaries are Child Advocates of Silicon Valley, City Year San Jose/Silicon Valley, JW House, Loaves & Fishes Family Kitchen, Make-A-Wish Greater Bay Area and Silicon Valley Children's Fund.
