Taube Philanthropies recently announced that it has awarded a grant of $100,000.00 over four years to support the Poland office of the American Jewish Committee. In announcing the grant, Tad Taube, Chairman of Taube Philanthropies, said, "The Warsaw office of the AJC plays a critical role in supporting the ongoing revitalization of Jewish life and culture in Poland, which has been a major objective of our philanthropy since 2003. The AJC has been long-involved in safeguarding the rights of Jewish citizens and generally advocating for democracy in Poland, dating back to the 1980 founding of the Solidarity movement that opposed the Communist regime. We are proud to partner with AJC in strengthening the ties between Poland's Jewish community and Jewish peoplehood worldwide."
