On May 15, 2017, the UC Theatre Taube Family Music Hall celebrated the graduation of the first cohort of Concert Career Pathways interns. Concert Career Pathways is a 9-month education program for young people ages 17-25 that combines workshops and paid internships where participants learn best practices in production management, event coordination, stagehand, floor staff, live sound engineering, lighting design, event budgeting, box office operations, marketing, social media promotion, booking, and more.

Over 15 interns accepted diplomas and gifts from UC Theatre Director David Mayeri and Education Director Robyn Bykofsky. Bykofsky described the accomplishments and areas of focus of each intern. General Manager Matthew "Smitty" Smith thanked the interns for helping infuse the workings of the venue with positive energy, leading to rave reviews from musicians about their experience at UC Theatre. The majority of the interns will continue their work at UC Theatre as paid staff, with others working at different music and theater venues.

The Taube Foundation congratulates the first cohort of interns on their success, and is proud to support the Concert Career Pathways Program.
