Taube Philanthropies is proud to advance the challenging mission of preserving the fragile yet enduring materials of our heritage, including World War II and Cold War-era archives at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University, the World War II-era Vatican Archive Initiative at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, paintings and photographs at The Magnes Collection of Jewish Art and Life, a Holocaust-era trove at the Emanuel Ringelblum Warsaw Ghetto Archive, and Polish music collections at the USC Thornton School of Music.
Making an impact is the centerpiece of Tad and Dianne Taube's philanthropic philosophy. With substantive grants to selected hospitals and medical research centers that provide an array of services, Taube Philanthropies is at the forefront of helping to create improved health and wellness across the lifespan.
Tad and Dianne Taube's significant grants to support civic and cultural life in the San Francisco Bay Area nourish the mind, the spirit, and the community, including support of the San Francisco Opera, the Golden Gate Park Tennis Center, The Magnes Collection of Jewish Art and Life at UC Berkeley, the San Mateo County Historical Association, and the Bay Bridge Lights.
